Friends do make a difference.

Strangers meet each other and they become friends. In a clique of about 5 to 6 persons, they go out and do stuffs together, from listening to each other's complaints to celebrating special occasions with one another. The question is - Are there "hierarchical" status or ranks in a particular group of friends? It is unspoken, yet able to be felt by the more sensitive ones in the group. For instance, a particular member in the clique tends to "get the better treatment" i.e. everyone looks up to him/her, and probably always the one leading the pack. While one or two in the group tend to be more passive, the ones being more quiet and believably being led. They're most likely the ones whose words are seen as of little importance, when it comes to making decisions in a group. Inevitably, these submissive ones tend to be forgotten easily once in a while. Sadly though, they are the ones who are able to sense such emotions and get bugged by it.

Tutorial. Bad start of the term.

Conflict

First day of year 2 sem 1. Lecture on some I-totally-dno crap. IEF, FMS, jialat la. Everything in the notes looked like greek to me. My slowpoke printer is going bonkers again. This time it wasted 5 pieces of paper. Oh well. I did not practise my chords today. I'm feeling so guilty -.-

and I only touched on one or two questions in the tutorial. Super guilty. How to get good grades like that???

Yesterday was fun fun fun. Went clubbing at Fluid Bar. The place's really small and cramped with peeps, but the music and girls were SUPERB. I mean.. SUPERB. The air-conditioning was down for an hour or so I think. Super HOT, and of cause, everyone sweat like crap. There was this hot lady dancing on the bar. Most probably she was paid, if not the bouncers would have chased her out. Ok. Be prepared. Ready? k. Beside the lady was STEVEN LIM!!!! dancing on the bar. He was getting really ... high. Yea, he took off his blue top. Sweet.

Back From Tioman

I'm back from Tioman!!!! Experienced island life! =D Woke up early, slept early, ate quite a bit. I went snorkeling in the clear sea. Man, nothing beats that. Corals, fishee, and even saw crows chasing an eagle which held on to another dead crow in its beak. Swam with lots of fishes. WONDERFUL experience. We even went DIVING!!! It was total fun. 13kg oxygen tank, weights, masks, and down we went. 12metres into the sea, I saw beautiful fishes, corals and even sea turtles!!!! They were so close to us! Looking closely at the sea urchins, I noticed they weren't just black spikes, there's actually 4 to 5 shiny silvery thingy and a round blue eye-look-alike thingy if u look at them carefully from the top. Most importantly, I swam with sharks :D No kidding. Two of them. My heart skipped a beat though, when I saw them. They were almost as large as Edwin. (no hard feelings =p) I was told that they were vegetarian. lols. Everyone is so friendly in Tioman. Ar.. I wanna go back. Oh, I flew a kite. =D and it really flew so high that a bird came to attack it before it went down hehe.

Should I post photos? haha. They're hilarious. We also have a video in making. Maybe we'll post it to some video hosting websites and let people enjoy our masterpiece =)))

Not now not now..

Tomb Sweeping. I was very shocked by the turnout today. Suddenly all my cousins, except for weiwei and qiqi, were absent. Every year the number decreased. Last year we set off with three cars. Today, only one van was needed. Have they forgotten the significance of this day? I hope not. Call me superstitious or what, we used to have our late ah gong "seng puay"(which means yes) on the first throw. This time, we had to try several times before we got a yes. This happens whenever all the grandchildren are not present. Haiz, and unfortunately, it started to drizzle before we could finish. By the time we got into the van, it started to rain like crap. While burning incense for my late ah zhor, my uncle got electrocuted while holding on to the umbrella. Luckily he was able to fling the umbrella immediately. Went home. Bathed. Slacked.

I'm having problems with my chords. I need to press the notes very hard before I could strum the right tune. Now my three fingers look purplish. Work harder WEIXIANG!!!

Omedetto

Had fun at Yiwen's BBQ yesterday. I felt kinda lost when I got there, cause I didn't know what else I could do other than chatting with him. Couldn't really start a conversation with his friends, except for Shiwei whom I found out to be really talkative =X Night falls, Kiaheng came. It's been dunno how many monkey years since I've seen him. He's still as yandao as ever :D We had the chance to catch up with each other's life, talk about stuffs. Really fun, with a bit of nostalgia. One of Yiwen's friends brought Ab. Vodka. I had two cups, and I thought I was getting high and crapping XD, but I'm glad I controlled myself.(my mum was there, I would have been deep fried by her if I got high.) Yiwen got knocked out after 3 cups. He couldn't walk at all, had to be put on the trolley and pushed to the car. <---The aftermath of massive gulps of alcohol. (oh ya, Shiwei had a sip too, but I think she didn't taste the alcohol part, just the green tea) She was imagining herself getting dizzy. lol.

The birthday boy went home. We slacked around, which means more talking. Played with sparkles. Made meteor sparkles. Lit big-ass sparkles. Played Frisbee.
We went home at about 1a.m. Shagged.

Happy Birthday my dear friend. This day will be remembered =x

5th of April -Happy Birthday Edward
Bought a hello kitty cake for him XD then together with Bryan we sat outside Causeway Point and sang the song.
Birthday Boy

Rushed home and went DXO after changing. There were so many people around the club when we reached there, probably because today's holiday. WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE FOR SUCH A SMALL CLUB! but luckily we were able to get in quite fast(without the hassle of queueing). Surprisingly, I danced very little that night. Just the thought of dancing in a pool of smelly meatballs just made me stayed up at the second floor. Had a few mouthfuls of Chivas. No effect... Edwin and Tck got high though. It's a different kind of clubbing I reckon. A different feeling. I like clubbing, seriously. Singapore nightlife has attracted me.

These few days had been fun.

1st - High tea with Jasper and Chinguan
Super full. Trays filled with dimsum in tenths went down our stomach. Cracking jokes and chit chatting. Arrr.. that's life.

Afterwhich we met up with Ed and started our mahjong session at his house. My mama's right. I'm really down on my luck. Lost all my coins. Arg. I really envy Ed's mum. She's understanding, lets Edwin do what he wants, and receptive towards ppl going clubbing. Mine's the opposite. =(

A bit of tanning, frisbee and soccer. Hurt my already-injured toe though. It rained halfway, and we had a small cleaning with the water that came down the roof. We walked to and fro for places to shower, but our effort was futile. So we went to a toilet and sort of pour water onto each other's body with the frisbee. xD Shagged. Reached home at about 7+, and I slept at 8. How early.



3rd - April's Fool
13hours of sleep, could have been more. mama woke me up and we went the.. temple for the...tomb cleaning or something like that. Next I went down to cousin's house and rest. At about 4+, mama and sis came so we went Clarke Quay and dined at Miharu Ramen. As good as usual. Superb Char Siew.=)))
