I did a stupid thing today. I was on the way to Toa Payoh, hoping to get a haircut but realised that the salon isn't open on Mondays, and that was when I was like 5minutes away from the interchange. Grabbed some octopus balls from Old Chang Kee, then came across this visually impaired old lady. She was taking the same bus with me, and only later I found out that she stay near my block, so I sort of accompanied her to her block. I held her onto the bus, but left her alone at the front seat. Then I thought, she won't be able to know where the bus stops at. After a few stops I didn't see her alighting, so I went up and approached her. That was when I found out that she stays in my neighbourhood.
I think I'm more of an old man's mindset. I stay in a senior-citizens-populated area, I communicate better with old people(I think), and I love anything that's got to do with yam. No wonder I have bad memory. =(
Mother's Day's around the corner, I may be getting a cake from goodwood park. They sell all cakes at half price after 8.30pm!!!
time flies, even when they don't have wings.
