2008

This is the last day of 2007, and it was a pretty fast year. Now, my resolutions for the year 2008

1) Pass final theory - I failed the first one. That was dumb.
2) Get a license - Need money for lessons
3) Get registered for Bunka Language School's classes - I'm getting that done pretty soon
4) A new phone please - 6500 CLASSIC!
5) More gym sessions - and I realised I've been gyming for 6 months already
6) Tummy-Be-Gone - FOR GOOD
7) Burn more fats to attain flatter chest - I don't like overgrown man-boobs
8) 7 chin ups - I don't want to fail NAPFA test and go in army early
9) Improve on GPA - I repeat, improve.
10) Read newspaper more frequently
11) Sleep at 11 instead of 3 everyday
12) Prepare for a year-end trip to somewhere far - preferably Japan =)))
13) A shot at love - hahaahaa, and that was supposed to make you laugh, at least giggle. Make me happy.

Home alone, happy holiday everyone.
Happy new year.

Saw the offer for a 6500 classic at $88 for a two-year plan. Just when I was ready to take a super pathetic public transport to Parkway tomorrow, I realised the offer's ending today. This is crap.

I'd had the best barbecue dinner in my life! Went to Andrea's place for dinner after a haircut. The haircut was horrendous, but the dinner was superb! Thanks Andrea! She's got such a cute dog, just don't growl at me, hahahaha!

and I quarreled with my father again. I closed the windows before going out and he insisted that I did a poor job by not LOCKing them. The wind's not going to blow from inside dumbhead! Next he scolded me for not switching off the fan when I'm not in my room. I'm like going in in 5minutes and he wants me to waste more energy by turning the fan on and off, on and off, on and off.

Damn pissed off.

Santa, where are you?

I realised that I have this habit of not sleeping after a chillout and refreshing my post entries at the early dawn. The few of us, counting down as the clock ticked, hugging one another and making jokes out of ourselves. Now that was priceless. Caroling with sean with each phone ring was totally fun. We got high and made fools out of ourselves, but I enjoyed that.

Like the past few years, this would be another Christmas alone. Worst still, I'll be attending a friend's wedding dinner later. The thought of it just makes me even more melancholic. No one would ever want to spend Christmas alone, no one.

Found out this local acapella group called Equivox and I thought they were totally awesome. Just simply youtube or google, everything's there. Here's what they'll usually do when they get bored.

This is so cliche, but...
Merry Christmas everyone.

苦しい

Caught National Treasure: Book of Secrets yesterday at suntec. Nicholas Cage is now listed under my top10 actor list. It was like any other treasure hunt movies with all the baddies dying and viola! A happy ending. The details in the movie saved the plot. I was greatly intrigued by how the movie proceeded and the special guy who appeared later. It was afterall, a whopping 120minute movie, more than enough to put all the elements in. It didn't feel like a 2hour show though, that's what makes a film successful. A definite 7.5/10

Winter Wonderland is sucha nice song =)
It's like listening to Gong Xi Fa Cai during CNY. Hhaahhaa!

Hey patrick, it seems that some people do take you for granted

zen zen

It's the break of dawn and here I am. Slept for 2hours or so and woke up because of some... pleasant nightmares =)

Chilled out with the guys and some new friends earlier on. Great company, great drinks, poor music. *and not cost-effective* hhahaha. I'm gonna go bankrupt at this rate.
Weather's been cool these few days, but I haven't had the chance to run. The sun is up! Have to go run!

departure

I just spent $7 on drummania, and probably hurt my wrist. It hurts like hell whenever I tried to play the drums.

Holidays have just started, and it's going to end soon. Two pathetic weeks flooded with projects to complete and left with little time to chill for this Christmas. Sometimes I really wish I can teleport, so that will significantly reduce my time taken to travel. Speaking of that, public transport, buses particularly, have been disappointing me. I was taking a bus from my school to my house, waiting for 154. Right in front of me came five 74 and no 154, ridiculous isn't it? While I was waiting for bus65 from town to my way home, I was agonized by the low frequencies of the buses. After a torturous 15minute wait, a double-decker stopped in front of me but the door refused to open. I wondered why for a second and saw a scene I normally would see in clubs. People squeezing each other till the point that there was no room for anyone else. Mind you, that was a double decker. I wouldn't be so infuriated if all the buses were like this. While I waited for another 20 minutes, six.. YES SIX freaking 147 double-deckers went by. they were obviously empty. 65 had to pass through Little India, I don't know if those SBS's management have something against the Indians or the people around them, they just don't improvise! People from town are trying to go home after a hard day at work or strenuous hours of walking after shopping, and they freaking dispatch a 6:1 ratio. Someone tell me I'm wrong for getting angered by this stupid arrangement.

ouch, my wrist hurts even when I'm typing. I better stop.

oh my gosh

Alright now for my christmas wish this year.
Instead of sticking my head into lecture notes and tutorials, I found myself clicking away my laptop, surfing for aviation remote controls, which basically means, remote control planes, helicopters and etc. I chanced upon this SUPER CUTE toy and I was totally fascinated by it. Be ready people! The world's first ornithopter with remote control.

You might think it's childish and hello ages 8+?! I don't care!!!!!!!!!!!
This pretty little dragonfly friend here costs around SGD$70. Kind of costly though. But I can't wait to lay my hands on one of those. Toy 'R' Us is selling at $69.90! *Hints*
I could get one at $62 though, with the help of my little christmas USD$8 coupon from Play-asia.com. So please! Tell me if you're getting one for me. HAHHAH!
This dragonfly here stays airborne for a decent 10minutes flight with every 20minute charge. O someone, let me die with no regrets.

Alright!!! Next in line presenting to you, the MICRO MOSQUITO! It is by far the world's smallest indoor helicopter operated by remote control! Words are nothing, just look at the video!!!

I bet your heart tickled a little! Look at how sleek and mysterious it is, with the two led lights in front guiding the way. Look at the size people! It fits the palm! I can't find this in Singapore though. The cheapest I found was on Ebay at SGD$49, but some ulu guy is selling it, so I'm not gonna buy from him. Other than that, it's either out of stock or sale at USD$69.90. I need my allowance. Each 15minutes charge can last about 10minutes of flight time, which is quite long, comparing the other counterparts in the market.

So people, which have you chosen to liven up this festive season?

double happiness

It was an eventful and exhausting day yesterday. I have no idea how I crept out of my bed at the stroke of 6am and began ransacking my wardrobe for a suitable set of clothes for toh's wedding. In fact, I was more excited and anticipative for the wedding instead of the CM exam which was two hours away. As usual, everyone dipped their heads into their notes while waiting for the lecture door to open.

Met up with siew wai and qi rui after their paper. Well, our exams' venues were just next to each other. While cabbing down to seng kang, where the ceremony was held, we passed by this accident scene with four cars at the side of the road, all bashed up. The worst thing was, I FORGOT TO LOOK FOR THEIR PLATE NUMBERS! Alright, never mind that.

I was looking forward to toh's wedding ever since she mentioned it one year ago. She's my secondary school's form teacher and apparently we were her first form class as an educator, so we were invited. The whole ceremony was quite monotonous. It was a catholic sort of ceremony, so..ya. Three of us sat at the back, cause we were abit late. Then there was this group of old ladies in front of us. What infuriated me was that throughout the ceremony, all they cared was playing with some toddler and totally ignored what was going on, even when asked to stand. That's not very nice, is it? Then the ceremony ended the way it should, with simple buffet at the cafeteria of the church. Sat down with the guys and chit chatted, and erm, the three Ss weren't very chatty even though we were beside them on the same table. Awkward. Miss Toh, erm I mean Mrs Tan, wore a bareback gown. Now that's hot. HAHAHA!

Went back home to collect kia heng's birthday present after the wedding. Bought a revoltage tee for him. It was held at his condo's function room and there was a decent turnout. His JC friends, army friends, uni friends, church friends and soccer friends were there. Food was nice but I guess that cost him abit. Have you ever seen salmon steak and cold octopus on a buffet? Delicious. His girlfriend was walking up and down in the room to get people to sign some paper and put it inside a scrapbook or something. She showed me the scrapbook and I saw something hilarious. Photographs of us when we were kids, and there was one recent photo that showed me at the same height with kia heng, cause I was tiptoeing and she even took a full body length photo, so you can actually see my heels going up. Hahaha. That was very nice of you shi wei. Anyway, happy 21st birthday kia heng.

Was watching "Search for the Next Pussycat Doll" and I realised what a b*tch Asia has been. She kept emphasizing on the fact that she joined the competition for her daughter's sake, blablabla. The way she carried herself in the show was unfriendly, hostile and way too sensitive. It's like there were three of them seating down, and Melissa R joked about some matter and Asia went, "Is that funny?" twice. Worst thing was Chelsea, who laughed with Melissa R, stopped immediately and said, "Yea, why do you think it's funny?" That makes two b*tches. Melissa R tried to lay down everything and talk like sensible adults, Asia went frenzy and obviously what you'd say to a nutcase is to shut the f*** up. People like her doesn't listen and keeps on whining like she's the saint and whoever disagrees is crap.
She sucks. Point made.
