6500s

I suddenly have the urge the write a review for 6500 slide. So here I am.

K. To begin, let's start the review by looking at the aesthetic features of the phone. Brushed with anodized aluminum, this phone here promises no scratches and "not-so-visible" fingerprints. It comes with two colours, silver black and full black. Full black is sleeker and less vulnerable to visible scratches, in my opinion. The silver dummies at the shops have so many scratches on them already. Next, the slide is very smooth and firm, and the buttons are not in the way when you slide it up. The number buttons feel very plastic, but that's how they get their lustre. The main navigational buttons are also brushed with anodized aluminum, giving them the sleek and metallic feel. Ergonomically speaking, I felt a little uncomfortable when typing messages for prolonged periods and to some extent it actually hurts my hand.

The 3.2megapixels camera boasts a high quality shoot, accompanied by Carl Zeiss lens. Flash is appropriate and great quality in the day, lesser ones under dim conditions. It is however, a waste for a 3.2megapixels camera to engage digital zoom. The 8x digital zoom doesn't show much, probably just zooming on a photo. The auto-focus is great and once you press the shutter down, the photo is being processed already. So this means you don't have to point your camera at a place for like five seconds before the photo gets captured. Video taking is exceptionally clear and of good quality, and the phone allows you to direct the folder destination to your memory card, which means you can video-take as much as your memory card can hold.

Battery life of this phone is disappointing, given the fact that it's just running on a s40. So far, a full battery would last me for less than two days.

The speaker is of superb quality and it can go up to very loud volumes. However, when you plug in Nokia headphones, the quality and volume are forced within the phone, so usually I have to switch the volume to the loudest when I'm with the headphones but just about level4 without the headphones.

There is a tv output port and cable, which allows you to view your phone display on a tv, including photos, ringtones, videos... and everything that you see on the phone. When I used the phone for calling, it gets pretty warm after a few minutes.

This phone entails a plethora of functions any student(like me) can dream of. It is a decent phone with sleek designs and great functions.

Pros: Sleek design, ideal functions, good camera, great speaker
Cons: Poor battery life, no optical zoom.

presenting, the househusband

Movie at AMK hub with edward and kerin. We watched "Vanished", a japanese horror, and I thought it was quite a waste of the $7. The movie had very little dialogues and there was a point where I almost fell asleep. Yet another mediocre low-budget horror, the thais are much better in producing such films, in my opinion. The emphasis wasn't really on the scary part, so I'd give it a 3.2/5. So after the movie we went for grocery shopping in NTUC, where kerin bought some air-flown pork for her dog and sushi for edward. Such a fortunate dog. Poor edward had to do the carrying, so that's why we call him, the househusband! hahahhaha
Great job edward.

I have dimples!

The 200th post, and I finally changed my phone. MUAHAHAHA!
So loving it.

School's out in a week or so, exam's around the corner. Freakin shyt. Clocked 3+hours on a flash animation for my BLAW presentation, but not very well received haha. I'll try harder!
Anyway, this is it. *You can right-click and uncheck the loop option so it only plays once, if not it'll just keep repeating*

I'm having problems with my laptop, again. Now something to do with the bluetooth driver. I've given up after so many tries and googling.

Some overdue photos & some new ones *click*click*

This one looks so bimbotic lol, but I like~

hey look, an intern

Life is full of shyt. You must have guessed it. I just received my attachment yesterday. The first sentence of the letter made me applaud in awe. A***** Investment Holdings, wow, investment company, that's what I'm interested in. As I lowered my vision to the next line, something inside me told me to tear the letter up. What's written then? Read on, just make sure you don't crash your computer.

Working hours: 9a.m. to 7p.m. (monday to thursday) 6p.m. (friday)

I hope your pc's still alrite.
and I always thought ITP's 6weeks. Now that I've counted numerous times, it's been confirmed at 7weeks.

Waves of terror and agony went through my head and I'm still furious by the fact that my friends are all working from 9 to 5/6.
Two years studying in a polytechnic, I finally realized something. Do whatever you can to pass the modules, and remember to suck up, to the lecturers, that is. It might sound low and wrong, but that's how things work in life. Yet another life-is-unfair shyt.

The voice lingers, "Damn you suck."

Enough of ranting, two submissions this time and PeekArChew winner goes to Miss Tiffany!

Hey Raeann, do leave a comment and tell me who you are!

"I thought..."

"I thought you were going to do this..."
"I thought he is the one..."
"I thought today is Wednesday..."

All these "I thought"s are errors of human nature which is prominent in every thinking brain. These assumptions are conveniently made up by us and they take the role of excuses, easily allowing us to bypass any mistakes we've made. Comments like these aren't rare in the usage of our daily life and are often coughed up to avoid being blamed, so people can blame it on the brain instead. I don't know why I'm typing all these, I just want to make a point. And it has been made. Ok, I admit, I'm bored.

bloody service provider, stop billing me twice a month with papers that require absolute concentration to decipher the oh-so-chim breakdown of bills. It makes my blood boil.

and yes, Edward, you can have my leftovers. hahahha

super random

First of all, happy birthday laysan! Bought two small cakes for her and thanks joyce for the lighter haha.

Lessons are getting boring, and my enthusiasm of completing tutorials ceased. NP's open house coming up and I'm helping out on Saturday.

Heavy rain today, I could even see the wind pushing the droplets as if they were some laser waves.

Getting a 6500 is no longer a want, it's become a need! I swear I have done a lot of googling and research on these two phones and the more I read about them, the more I feel that they should be a part of my life! Hahaha, sounds corny. This is probably the first time I've ever done so much research on something. (yea, I don't even read up that much for projects) Chinese New Year! Please come! I need phone sales!

Ordered fish soup noodle after gym session and realized that prices have gone up! Alright, 7% GST I thought? How come vendors are increasing food prices by a whopping 25%?! I know it doesn't work that way, but hey, 25% is a lot! The old regular fish soup noodle would have cost me $2. Now it's jacked up to $2.50. Chicken rice has gone from $2 to $2.30, a plate of fried chicken remains at $2, but the serving has gone way down. Teh ice a semester ago was 45cents, now it's freaking 70cents. Vendors sure know how to abuse the hike and cause our pockets to shrink. Oh, and I forgot to add. A plain prata used to cost me 50cents each, but now it's gone up to 70cents each.

HBO!

Printing CM notes is killing my printer, though it's like already 3000 years old. Just look at the whole stack in the file.

I've been watching SCV a lot lately, due to the sudden rush of extra channels I got after exchanging the box. HBO, star movies, BBC, CNBC and even Bloomberg. Hahahaha, I hope they don't charge me for that.

wow, thanks for ending the call with an abrupt "ar".

A little update

School's been good, especially after clearing all the projects and assignments. ProjectEarthCries took off smoothly, thanks to the crew. Response was rather encouraging, surprisingly. Thanks for everyone who came down! I had fun, though I didn't really learn anything. Special thanks to Mr. Larry who's forever so enthusiastic in giving out fliers and promoting the event, and Paul who agreed to put the poster on his shop.

Reading up a bit of Japanese recently, trying to learn on my own. Thanks Edward for the guidance.

School just started, exam's in few weeks time. Wow.

now that's what I call deprived childhood

hello 2032

Now I finally realized something good when you're staying at places near industrial areas, because...........YOU ARE SO DAMN NEAR WAREHOUSE SALES!

There are like tons of warehouse sales going on near my house. I just visited the crocodile's warehouse sales. Story goes: I was waiting for the traffic light to turn green after I took a bus home and saw this crocodile warehouse sales. Intrigued by the banner and loud music playing from the place, I changed my course and made my way to the building. Walked for a while and tried a few pieces before making my way to the cashier for payment. Bought a polo tee at $19, two plain tees at $8 each and a tee at $9. Feel so satisfied. HAHAHA

And I'm going G2000's warehouse sales tomorrow. SO DAM NEAR MY HOUSE! hahhaha. I'm getting a little hyped up.

I'm hungry. I need mcdelivery, I need $10,000.
School is getting monotonous.

2008-1

It's been a hectic year and I spent the last night of 2007 with new and old friends. Yesterday was the most special countdown I've ever had. Seated in the cinema by 11.30, and welcomed the new year with Will Smith, and a couple of grotesque undead. That's right, I watched I Am Legend in the last night of 2008. We missed buses and walked from AMK Hub to boundary road for prata. Time clocked: 60minutes. Joseph and Eileen, whom I just got to know of, are great company. Meeting up with old friends and supper, it was great. Stanley and Chee Hoe came to meet us for supper and I was totally surprised by how CH has slimmed down. Back then, he was rounder than me. Now he's like ...whoa. I supposed he took slimming pills. Proceeded to Siong's house with Joseph and Eileen as Chuanyi and Gerald made their way home. Drink, drank, but not that drunk. Then I came up with this term, "Drunk Hunk". How does that sound? hahaha!

Alright alright, I have a list of people I want to thank.

Melvin - The charming guy, my saviour. He introduced me to gym and I'm very grateful. hahhaa. Thanks for sharing everything and remember, you have a shot at love! Make sure you do it well =)

Sean - This guy here practically goes through thick and thin with me. Every clubbing nights, we gay together, dance together, share similar thoughts. The one who got me into drummania, the one who gives a listening ear. Thanks Sean.

SiongZhen - You who're forever staring at my boobs! HAHA. Thanks for accommodating me until 6 for the first bus, saves me the oh-so-high cab fare. A pretty boy in the past, a drunk hunk today. Thanks for being there and sharing good times together. More tanning aye? =)

ChinGuan - @#&$@#%&$%^$#^%$*%^*^. I usually switch my phone to the softest sound when he calls me. He's loud, he's noisy, he's a good friend. Gets irritated easily, but sometimes quite cute. Holy fak, I can't believe I just typed that. It's good to be ambitious, but don't act rash alright? I don't wish to see you flare up.

EdwinAng - Ever since he took up skating, we've spent less time together. This guy here has grown, and is taking his license soon! Edwin! Stop being so despondent. You're the one who come up with stupid but hilarious ideas to disturb people, and we like that. Haji Lane please!

Bryan&Edward - Both of you are the light of my life, seriously. You've exposed me to a world I have never thought of going into and I learned alot of things from you guys. Thanks for being my IT consultants and Edward, thanks for all the japanese media and help with japanese language. I appreciate that.

TF04 - You've made lessons exciting with funny yet inquisitive questions and I enjoy the chillouts with you guys. Edgar, you and your 1million hhahaa. Daniel, open up your brain, I wanna see what's inside =D TrudyMasa, BIMBOS! hahaha, with high gpas. =x Boyce! I anticipate your boot camp! SamPng, she who bears the same last name as me, my long lost sister, thanks for the jokes! *our new EC tutor is here! finally*

Crystal - Thanks for the phone calls and I enjoyed chatting on the phone with you. Just put on less makeup when you're out. lol

that's it. tomorrow's first day of school, but I really don't feel like going. This feeling is horrendous.
