travel log #1
Clock strikes 8. Off I went from oschool to the airport. Flight took off at midnight, with a little delay. Six hours of flight wasn't that long when you have entertainment. Psp loaded up with episodes of mythbusters and games which accompanied me all the way to the Land of the Morning Calm, Korea.
7am in the morning, we made our way to a small restaurant, where we had our first traditional korean meal. Rice mixed with awesome bean paste and veggies. I must say the koreans eat veggies alot.
After the meal, the coach took us to dongdaemun/nandaemun (forgotten which one). Similar to ximending in Taiwan, this place has retail shops selling mid-end fashion items. On the other side of the road, big word spells GUCCI. Whole building is invaded with fashion killers i.e. LV, VERSACE, DIOR...etc. So high end everyone had pressure just walking into the building. Air conditioning was good though. While combing the streets of dongdaemun/nandaemun, we came across this long korean ice-cream and hello-kitty store. Pretty cute. Besides, korean cafes are super duper well furnished. Starbucks in korea are real coffeehouses. You'll see.

Within the allocated three hours, we shopped until our legs became sore. I was so glad that transport was a fully air conditioned & comfy coach. Next stop was LotteWorld, a freaking awesome theme park with extreme rides. Tour guide told us the GYRODROP's a must try, and so we did. So how did it go? I'm telling you, that was the scariest ride in my fat experience of taking thrill rides. Even sis, the daredevil said that was by far the scariest drop. Genting's and Taiwan's one were child's play. This is not the highest drop ride, but the falling speed was the fastest. I was like... ARRRRRRrrrr............My shout went dead in the middle. Try imagining. Made our way to the second scariest ride in lotteworld, the GYROSWING. At first we wondered why the need for a mask for the ride and after the whole thing, we knew it was to protect your face from being disfigured from the wind while the thing swings. The speed was fast and furious, shiok-est ride imo. That was the outdoor part. There was the hotairballoonaroundthebuilding ride which got us all excited. Was a fun day. Byebye!

dopestuffcannotbluff
This is by far the most fulfilling lesson I've had. Anan taught us the harlem shake and implemented into the routine, which was dope shit but difficult. Dope stuffs never come easy. So after a few practices in front of the mirror, I finally did it. -.-
7 or 8.. I can't decide.

Pictorials......NAH
2 hours in studio never felt that good. Well there was some distraction, two guys asking if we could share the space, while they danced themselves at the back. So I agreed, but obviously was a wrong decision. Jac felt super awkward and stopped half an hour before time was up. Nam wasn't moving as much. I had to admit, with two guys staring at your every action, it definitely didn't feel good. And finally, I came up with a part of my choreography. Inspiration, inspiration.
alright, the much anticipated photos from the korea trip lol
took over 800+ photos, so I'll just post a few.
day1
.it's taking forever to upload the photos.
sleep is more important. NIGHT!

faraway
Here I am, not packing my luggage , but packing lots of shows into the psp, for the long flight might just kill me. Music, book, videos.. entertainment is essential in between the destinations, cause I don't really sleep that much while flying. I wish bittorent could work while I was on the plane. xD

KONIGHT2008
So it's KO night, the competition we'd all been looking forward to, not that we're competing, but we just wanted to be awed by the sleek dance moves. Nam and me, together with two of his friends, went to catch the competition. It was held at a hall at the 12th level of Singpost. The stage and the rink were so nicely constructed, made it looked like a real wrestling arena.
Redline kickstart the competition with their cool routine and I tell you, I've been looking forward to DT's performance ever since I saw his videos on youtube. Definitely not dissappointed. RatedPg, however, underperformed, so there wasn't really much disputes over the victory. Oh, winner gets 5d4n all expenses paid trip to Tokyo. How cool is that. Next up was the Bboy segment, and I realised that one of the member in Inertia Crew is actually friend's friend's boyfriend, Dominic. I was rooting for him but FloorTech won. Oh well. Third segment was the locking part, which I loved. FaithSociety put up a good fight, even though 90% of the crowd was rooting for Fonkay. Popping segment came last as SunsetAlleyCats took the champion.
In between the segments, there was a special performance by HILTY & BOSCH!!!! Freaking dope locking crew from Japan. Well I've been looking up their videos on youtube and to think I get to see them in person on the stage, so near, locking away. I was so inspired. So in a moment of folly, I put up this sidenick on msn, "KOnight 2009, wait for me".
You know I'm kidding XD
How do I surpass those elites? Damn.
awesome shit right here/
