anyway the last quarter-final of ko night was a blast, especially during the hiphop segment. Some competitors wow-ed me, like Joey from J-soul, Jasmine from Groovy Aggression, Diane from Tiny Pink Monsters, Zach from TheDope&TheJoke and Darren from Redline. This year's hiphop standard has definitely leveled up a notch. Locking was fun fun fun with Fonkay Styles but I almost fell asleep during popping segment. lol. Whatever it is, I take my hats off every participant for their courage to perform in front of the many people who are staring from all angles giving all kinds of looks.

I just sold my piano but......

Sorry for the hiatus, I'm here to inform everyone that my piano has been sold! I wished I could deduct $800 off my $3k budget for my turntables, but I still have to return the money to my mom, who paid for the piano. I don't know if I should feel relieved or regretful. lol . One thing for sure is that I finally have some space to put the turntables. Wahaha.

As I fantasize about the mixing and scratching I'm gonna do in my own bedroom, reality starts to kick in again. Ns is just three months away. 3months meaning 90days, meaning 2160 more hours to hell. Now with michael buble playing in the background through my z10s, I start to think about how useless I've been for the past few years in poly. Now that I'm working in a secondary school, I get to see alot of teenagers and it seems very interesting to interact with them. I should probably fill up the form for relief teaching soon. Sadly, it's June holidays and MOE doesn't really need any relief teachers now, so wth.

As I'm typing this whole chunk of meaningless words, my head keeps turning to the back to take another glance of my piano. Suddenly, all those feelings are getting to me, but I guess cash is still a better friend at this point in time.

Work had been going fine, just that I need to get used to the 7.30 to 5 routine everyday. Waking up at 6 isn't exactly what I like, but for the sake of cash, gotta sacrifice a lil man. Very interesting to see different sorts of students visiting the general office haha. Canteen food is still as cheap as ever. I ordered mixed vege rice until the auntie asked me to stop lol. Best part is, it only cost $2.50! Plate full of food, good meal during bad times like this hahaha

Oh, I was talking to mom on friday bout the turntables I want to buy when she suddenly told me that pops had a vinyl record player. Without any hesitation, I began to ransack the cupboard and boy was I amazed. Take a look.

Oh the other day sis's bf brought us to long beach king@ east coast park to celebrate mom and dad's 25th anniversary and I finally tasted the alaskan crab! The crab cost near to a whopping $400 for just a 2.5kg. But everyone was damn full and couldn't finish the crab, so I just whack ar hahaha. Taste is heavenly I tell you.

Expensive DJ eqs in Singapore

For those who've been wondering why I've been taking up random odd jobs recently.
This is the reason why.

Mr. Png here had to resort to cutting the toothpaste tube in order to gain access to the leftovers in the deep end of the tube. This is how poor I am right now. lol

Before asking for a price quote I thought these would probably costs around 1.5k to 2k. But after the fella sent me the price list I had the shock of my life. The cheapest package with the stantons 120s costs about 2.6k. Since I'm such a sucker for higher-end electronics, I was actually aiming for the 3rd or 4th package, which features a pair of stantons 150s( I love these turntables).

Initially I was thinking of getting the technics 1210s, but the cheapest mk2 package costs about 3k already. Talk about industry standards haha.

Online prices are actually 50% cheaper, but I don't know if I can trust them man... so if any of you knows anyone who knows the prices in singapore, please don't hesitate to give me a call!

I'm also looking for a used pair of Stanton ST150 and also a used pair of 1200/1210s. Any keen seller can contact me! Local distributors really jacked up the price man.

五天的工作让我领悟了很多。虽然只是卖鞋，但其中的辛苦只有亲生体会才能了解。由于员工经常被吊来吊去，我认识了不少同事。大家都非常有趣。工作虽然辛苦，但大家都会苦中做乐，懂得怎么把工作当成是快乐的。
