Thursday marked the influx of dance activities in the may of June. Hanai's class was super duper awesome. With just two moves and minimal locking, he has shown the essence of locking through soul dance. My concept of locking has changed totally. Locking is no longer about how well you can twirl or how many power moves you can do, it's about enjoying the music and creating moves that make sense in the dance itself. The lesson was quite brief due to the time but everyone enjoyed it alot. AND AND AND Hanai's a very nice person! hahaha.
#edit: KO Night finals ended, good good dancing everyone.
First activity this morning was the mass workshop, whereby many would be gathered in a hall to learn 3 different dance styles, namely hiphop, house and waacking. Woke up at 6+ before heading for town for breakfast. At the strike of 9, everyone started to come in one by one, grooving to the music played in the background. First time learning waacking and house, and it turned out well. House was very very fun! Especially when you have an instructor who's damn cheeky and playful. Ta-ke is such a funny guy. He kinda reminds me of one Japanese actor. Anan's hiphop segment was tough when it was nearing to the end of the routine. Crazy legs movement I tell ya. She's still as cute as ever. Wahaha. Lee's waacking segment was damn fun too, first time learning and wow, so many techniques in a simple single move. The 5hour workshop ended off with a hiphop segment by Bon. Extremely extremely good instructor and I seemed to catch his style pretty fast, which was a good thing. He has this I-am-an-angry-man face, but he's actually a very nice guy! He repeats his routine from the beginning everytime! This way you won't have to worry about forgetting the steps. What an awesome way to teach.
Headed for lunch at Aston's after the workshop and everyone was lethargic as hell. 5 hours of continuous dancing is no kidding I tell ya. I'm looking forward to TBG, which is just hours away! Wahaha, hope to get good seats tomorrow.
on a side note, I was looking through frontallabs and saw someone selling off his SL1. So I pm-ed him and was supposed to meet him tomorrow in town. But just now! He just told me that he traded it off with something else. Dammit. There goes my dvs.
I'll end off this post with my two favourite photos of the week :D

Bon-san's the one in white!
and say hello to my favourite instructor of all time :D

peace out.
